Covid-19 Response Plan

At Jet.AI we’re committed to safety. Although private aviation likely reduces the risk of infection by lowering the number of persons traveling together, that is no reason for complacency. We’re working to continually improve our practices to reduce the spread of the virus.

Here are some of the precautions that we are taking:

TRAVEL: Jet.AI will follow the guidance of the U.S. Department of State, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO) to prohibit operations to locations it deems unsafe.

AIRCRAFT CLEANING: All Jet.AI HondaJet Elite / Elite S aircraft go through a multi-step cleaning and disinfecting program in accordance with the guidelines of the CDC and WHO. This helps us ensure a clean and comfortable cabin for every flight. This includes daily post-flight and pre-flight cleanings, using disinfectant-grade products that are EPA-approved and effective at killing the COVID-19 virus.

PRE-FLIGHT SCREENING: Our Owner Relations Team will evaluate all flight details, request some information about health history in relation to COVID-19, and ask for additional information concerning previous or future travel plans as needed. Additionally prior to boarding your flight the assigned crewmembers will ask if any of the particulars have changed.

DOMESTIC TRAVEL: While national airspace remains open to both commercial and private aviation, there are varying levels of response to COVID-19 from state and local governments across the country. We suggest that customers understand the various implications before traveling, such as recommended or required self-quarantines and facial coverings. It is important to note that some states are requiring previous travel documentation upon arrival.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL: Flights outside of the U.S. to Mexico and Canada will be allowed on a case-by-case basis if the country is allowing U.S. arrivals and departures and following a proper risk assessment by the flight operations team.

CREWMEMBERS: 100% of our HondaJet Elite / Elite S crewmembers have been tested and we will be offering ongoing testing to anyone who travels to high-risk locations, has been exposed to COVID-19, or becomes symptomatic.

FACE COVERINGS: Our HondaJet Elite / Elite S crewmembers and Jet.AI employees will wear coverings while performing duties in the presence of passengers, which include, but are not limited to, greetings, safety briefings, and cabin service. Facial coverings must also be used by crewmembers and Jet.AI employees when required by local ordinances or businesses, such as FBOs.

SOCIAL DISTIANCING: To curtail the risk of exposure, we do not recommend handshakes between our crew, owners, passengers, and any suppliers. All crewmember travel is closely monitored; those exposed in any manner are required to quarantine for 14 days and until they are no longer symptomatic.

CONTRACT TRACING: Any Jet.AI employee or crewmember who has been diagnosed with the coronavirus is prohibited from entering our facilities (or aircraft) until deemed recovered by a physician. Our staff and state designated research contacts will make necessary notifications and accommodations as needed.

CABIN AIR SYSTEM: While filter systems vary from aircraft to aircraft, the HondaJet cabins circulate the onboard air with fresh outside air every 2–4 minutes. This timeframe is based on various environmental factors such as aircraft altitude, and temperature.
